Aaron Chockla

Aaron Chockla is a member of Evergreen Climate Innovations’ Investment Committee. Aaron is an investment professional at True North Venture Partners, an early-stage investment firm targeting sustainable innovations in energy, water, chemicals & fuels, and waste management.
Aaron focuses on identifying early stage investment opportunities and key technology and market trends and assists portfolio companies in these areas post-investment. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and serves on the Innovation Crossroads Leadership Council for Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Prior to True North, Aaron held various research, development, and engineering positions. He worked as a startup consultant and co-founded a cleantech startup. Aaron began his career as a development engineer at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Samsung Austin Semiconductor.
Aaron holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, a J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
