Clean Jobs Midwest is a comprehensive clean energy employment survey covering 12 Midwest states (Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, and Indiana).
Clean Jobs Midwest provides detailed demographic and technology sub-sector information on the region’s clean energy sector employment and overall clean energy employment information at the metropolitan statistical area, county, and state legislative district levels.
This report helps to build a better understanding of the clean energy employment ecosystem in the Midwest region and is a tool for advocates and policymakers as they develop and strengthen public policy to expand clean energy and foster cleantech innovation and entrepreneurship.
Clean Energy Trust has developed Clean Jobs Midwest in partnership with Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) with support from The Joyce Foundation, Energy Foundation, and the McKnight Foundation to tell the story of the region’s clean energy sector.
