Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer of 3P Partners, Inc, a B corp entity that is focused on investing in and developing tools to help communities and cities meet their carbon reduction and broader sustainability goals through the deployment of innovative social and environmentally focused technologies. In this role, Ashley provides financial and technical due diligence, focusing on technology scale capabilities and engages regularly with entrepreneurs, universities, cities and impact investors.
Prior to this role, Ashley spent nearly 15 years at Wells Fargo, supporting the company’s sustainable finance and environmental commitment efforts, deploying more than $100 million from the Wells Fargo Foundation to environmental projects. In addition, Ashley was co-founder of the award-winning Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2) program, a $30 million platform to spur innovation and technology adoption of early-stage clean technology companies. The program has supported more than 20 clean energy startups, engages more than 50 university and other incubator/accelerator partners and has gone on to raise more than $85 million in follow-on funding.
Ashley further supports the clean technology and sustainability ecosystem by sitting on other national boards such as the Green Sports Alliance and helps to mentor early-stage entrepreneurs. She earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder, as a student-athlete on the CU NCAA Division One women’s soccer team. She also holds a certified financial planning certificate from DePaul University.
